About the Patriot League
The Patriot League consists of eight, Division I East Coast colleges and universities that share the belief that athletes
should be academically representative of their class. The league was founded as a football conference in 1986. Since then,
twenty-one sports have been added. The league's student-athletes are frequently nationally recognized for both their academic
and athletic achievements.
